Certificate Program Overview
The Bindura University of Science Education has partnered with Digitally Smart to offer a certification program in Digital Marketing. The certificate course is delivered online. It provides 4 weeks of instruction-led curriculum where participants are exposed to current trends and best practices in Digital Marketing. Students learn the techniques that are currently shaping the digital marketing industry and they are provided with the tools to build a solid foundation in core digital marketing principles.

Modules Overview
DIGITAL CHANNELS & CONTENT MARKETING
Broadly speaking, all digital marketing activities can be described as either paid or organic. This module examines the main difference between the two of them and provides a general overview of the key channels in each. In addition, the module reviews the importance of content marketing as a discipline and provides examples of how organisations can effectively use it in their businesses
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION OR SEO
The SEO module examines the various tactics for enhancing a website’s position with search engines. The module covers the key concepts and terminology used within the field of SEO and equips students with the understanding of which are the main factors that influence a website’s visibility on the Search Engines
WEB ANALYTICS
The Analytics module provides insights about website visitors and about the range of specialist tools that are available to help you understand how to measure and monitor online traffic. This module reviews the basic analytics terminology and students discover how to align business Key Performance Indicators (or KPIs) with analytics goals
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
The Social Media Marketing module showcases how to effectively engage with customers across social media platforms. Students appreciate the emerging trends in the social media space and the opportunity afforded by the ‘always connected’ social consumer

- When are the lectures? Can I balance work and studies?
- All video-lectures are pre-recorded for you to access them at your convenience. This means that you don't need to attend the lectures at any specific time. Every week we release a new module with the corresponding learning materials, and students have the whole week to go through the materials. By the end of the module, students are required to complete their weekly assignment and test quiz which will be graded by your tutor. Due to the high level of flexibility, the course suitable and convenient for students engaged in other study programs as well as working professionals.
- Is there a final exam?
- The course evaluation and assessment occurs on an on-going basis. This means that you will not need to take a final exam. Instead, you will earn your certification based on the scores attained through your weekly submissions. Learn from season professionals with global exposure.
