Yes, I work for CABS; a member of the Old Mutual Group, as a Customer Experience Officer.

Tell us a bit about your experience before enrolling to the certification course?
My career and passion for all things Marketing and Customer Expereince was birthed in the Advertising space. I moved between Agency and Corporate as I sought to grow and learn about this new found passion. I worked for Agencies such as Adrenalin Advertising, DDBHash three, ThinkTank and for Corporate Companies such as Innscor Franchising Zimbabwe, Econet Wireless, Liquid Telecom in the Marketing field.

What influenced your decision to study in the digital field?
My desire to learn new things and become a more well-rounded individual persuaded me to enrol for the course.

What were your favourite aspects of the course?
I enjoyed the practical assignments, I found those allowed me to experience the various aspects of the lesson in a practical way that would also allow me to know how to use them in my personal capacity and work. I enjoyed the video tutorials, the animated pictures that guided the lesson made it feel less like you were in “class” and less cumbersome.

Is there any advice you would give to new students at Digitally Smart?
Don’t forget about the discussion forums. No seriously, this course is packed with little nuggets and insights that will change how you view the impact of digital marketing on any organisation, the power it has to transform how you interact with your customers. Enjoy the classes and remember not to miss the discussion forums.
